Spring Scents

Mabuhay!

I am grateful to be working in an environment that is cold (read: airconditioned studio).
In fact, I have to bring a jacket or wear boots to keep me warm — very Fall/Winter lang ang peg.
So far, all my shoots have been indoors, but I am dreading the next campaign I'm working on as it will be on location. In a farm. No trees. Just a field. I'm melting. @.@

I wish summer in Manila is just like the way perfume companies describe it in their press kits: "Refreshing sunny summer days!" or "Lose yourself in a field of flowers?" and my favorite, "Evoke the freshness and spontaneity of a springtime fancy!" OK, wherever those places are, please feel free to take me there. Now na.

Anyway, I have to admit that with a few spritz of my fave scent, it helped me feel refreshed. Just a bit. Teeny tiny.

In the end, looking at my perfume bottles make me happy! Spring joy!

Summer in bottles:

Burberry Summer

How many times have you caught a whiff of woman's or man's scent that it feels like you've hit a brick wall? Please raise your legs. *raising both legs*

Who here loves the smell of a baby or freshly showered loved one? Again, please raise your legs. *raising both legs*

Here are my top three just-got-out-of-the-shower scents that will leave you fresh and smelling like a debutant the whole day.
In other words, freshness.

Even though all these scents were made for women, I believe that guys and gays can use them too.

Clean Eau de Parfum, the signature scent, is reminiscent of pure soap. It combines the fragrance notes of litsea cubeba, orange, sweet lime, pink grapefruit, passion lily, rose geranium, and white musk.
Tip: It's eau de parfum so a little spritz goes a long way.

Clean Eau de Parfum in Warm Cotton, the crispness of freshly laundered linens into an understated fragrance that is soft and subtly sexy.

Gap Stay has the notes include green hydrangea, freesia, blue lotus, peony, amber musk and driftwood.

Tova Beverly is a fragrance for women. middle notes are lavender and jasmine; base notes are sandalwood and musk.
This perfume is elusive. You can get them from stalls from bazaars that sell perfumes and PX goods. The brand is a bit retro but the powdery fresh scent is a classic favorite.
