Oh My Gosh!

If "Oh My Gosh!" doesn't catch your attention, I don't know what will.
I'm talking about Oh My Gosh! BookCase and Crystal Clear screen protector for iPad, iPhone, and iTouch.

When I got my iPad 2 gift from Century Tuna (thanks again!), I was determined to find the "best" case for it.  Since the gadget is new, the choices are limited. I tried the Apple Smart Cover but it only protected the top part of the gadget so nevermind. I wanted one that protected the whole device. I'm glad I passed by Anson's in Ayala Center Makati because I found a good iPad 2 case!

Oh My Gosh! BookCase
The case is expensive; P3,200 but it's worth it as it protects the whole iPad 2. I like that it's lightweight and compact too.
I chose the red case. It's also available in textured black and plain black with red stitches.
Oh My Gosh! Crystal Clear iPad 2 and iPhone 4 protectors
Love that!

I suggest that before you bust out your newly bought iPad 2 and iPhone 4 gadgets, be sure to put a protector on it. It's a pain to attach the screen protector when there are scratches or oil on the screen already.

Meet Rachel. She is one of the sales assistants at Anson's and this woman is one of the most O.C. sales persons I've encountered! I love it! She made sure that my screen protectors perfectly fit all my gadgets. I love people who take pride in their work.
Look for Rachel at Anson's if you decide to buy the screen protector. She's off every Tuesday. O, di ba?
Poetry in motion. LOL

Hello Instagram!

Goodbye Tumblr, hello Instagram!

What is the Instagram?

It's a simple photo-taking and photo-sharing app that has taken over Silicon Valley and is filling our Twitter feed with fun, cute photographs.

You can get it for free from Apple's App Store.

What's it for?

First, Instagram is for taking pictures, adding filters to make them look retro, and then for sharing them with sites like Twitter, Flickr, Tumblr, and Facebook.

Here's how to sign-up.

I've been uploading like a mad woman on Instagram! Haha! It's really my new Tumblr. I don't post all my Instagram photos on Twitter but if you're on Instagram, you'll be able to view my entire feed.

Here's a sneak peek to what I've uploaded so far:

"Eye style"

"Put. The. Phone. Down."
Aryanna obsessing over my new phone. LOL

"I can't wait to bring Dylan to Disneyland!"

Sadly, Instagram is only for iPhones, iPad, iTouch users. I wish Blackberry and other phones have the same app.

Read the delivery receipt attached to the gadgets:

We can all scream now: "Ahhhhhhhh!"

According to Century Tuna, their whole team was very happy with the results of my "Meatless Fridays" so as a token of their appreciation, they gave me my own iPad 2. I knew about the iPad 2 giveaway for my blog but I had no idea they were going to give me one as well! Thank you so much! I'm very grateful!

Good news: Century Tuna was also impressed with everyone's participation on my last "Jennirosity Day: iPhone 4" giveaway that they will be giving away the other iPad 2 to one of my amazing readers! OK, you may scream again...

And now, just to share with all of you my new and very cool toy plus, this is also a preview of what you could win on my next "Jennirosity Day":

Oh, this too, just arrived in time:

Meatless Fridays: Century Corned Tuna Frittata w/ Goat Cheese, Shallots & Garlic

Here's a dish that is easy to make, filling, healthy, delicious, and you can serve it hot or cold. It's also the perfect meal to add to your back-to-school menu:

Century Corned Tuna Frittata with Goat Cheese,
Shallots & Garlic

2 cans of Century Corned Tuna, drained
10 pcs. fresh eggs
Choose Bounty Fresh Eggs, no chix poop on the egg shells.
Clockwise: 1/4 cup non-fat milk, grated parmesan cheese (optional), 1 small block of goat cheese
3 pcs. shallots, 3 pcs. garlic

Easy peasy:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F.
In a large mixing bowl, crack all 10 eggs, add salt and pepper to taste
Tip: If you're adding parmesan cheese, lessen the use of salt as the cheese is already salty.
Step 2: Add the non-fat milk
Step 3: Whisk together the eggs, milk, and parmesan cheese. Season it with salt and pepper.

Important: You will need a cast iron skillet or any pan without a handle that would NOT melt when placed inside the oven or a baking dish to cook this recipe.

Step 4: In a cast iron skillet, sauté garlic and shallots in extra virgin olive oil.
Tip: Be sure to oil the sides of the pan too.
Step 5: Add the corned tuna and cook for 2-3 mins.
Step 6: Spread out tuna evenly on bottom of skillet. Pour the egg mixture to the sautéd corned tuna
Step 7: Using a spatula, lift up the corned tuna mixture along the sides of the pan to let egg mixture flow underneath.
Step 8: Spread the goat cheese on top. When the mixture is about half set, put the whole pan inside the oven.
Step 9: Put the pan inside the pre-heated (400°F) oven and bake for 12-15 minutes...
...until frittata is puffy and golden.
Step 10: Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
Step 11: Sprinkle spring onions or fresh basil leaves on top.
Step 11: Serve the frittata with sour cream
Tip: I recommend that you buy a good quality sour cream, it really makes a difference. We buy Bulla Premium Sour Cream from Santi's.

Top the frittata with a dollop of sour creammm...
So yummy and filling! Perfect to eat any time of the day!
Aryanna already told me she wanted this as part of her lunch box menu. Remember, it's back-to-school soon!

Shoppingero/shoppingera, have you prepared a back-to-school menu?
