My Top 5 Picks

Mabuhay!

1. Sparkling water
The best summer drink in my book! It's refreshing and healthier than soft drinks.

Personally, I love Perrier Lemon.

2. Facial oil blotters
This is probably one of the best beauty inventions ever! My makeup artist friends suggest using oil blotter sheets for re-touching instead of adding powder to your made-up face. They are better than putting more powder on — doing that just makes your face look caked with makeup.

Perfect for those who have oily skin and for men too!

Paul & Joe Limited Edition Alice in Wonderland oil blotters.

3. Bayo T-shirts
It's T-shirt season! Don't want to reveal too much skin this summer? I recommend Bayo's "Alexa" tees. They are made from tissue-like fabric with a "naughty-call" twist of stripes and lace!

Best part: you don't have to leave your airconditioned rooms to shop because you can now buy them online.

Shop now at www.bayo.com.ph!

4. Gwyneth Paltrow's Cookbook: "My Father's Daughter"
As some of you may know, I love Gwyneth Paltrow. She balances family, fashion, and fitness! In my opinion, she is one of the coolest celebrity/moms.
Thanks to her GOOP.com vlogs, we know that she can cook, hold a knife properly, and is passionate about feeding her family nutritious food.

My favorite Gwyneth quote in the book: On one of her kids' favorite dishes: "Oh, how my heart leaps when I see them munching down kale with brown rice."
I can relate, it's when Aryanna chooses to eat salad over pizza I know our efforts in educating our kids on healthy eating has finally paid off!

"My Father's Daughter" by Gwyneth Paltrow is available at National Book Store

Love it:
Thank you Gwyneth for your Crispy Potato & Garlic Cake! I will try your recipe this weekend.

One of my birthday wishes is a signed copy of Gwyneth's cookbook. Crossing my legs...;D

5. VMV Hypoallergenics Grandma Minnie's Skincredibly Versatile Solution Oil's Well Nurturing Do-It-Oil
I'd like to thank the peeps from Adora for giving me a VMV Hypoallergenics Mom + Baby gift pack during my baby shower last year. I've been using Grandma Minnie's Skincredibly Versatile Solution Oil's Well Nurturing Do-It-Oil on baby Dylan from day one and he has never had a diaper rash!

Made from organic virgin coconut oil

You'll love:
  • Softens + salves even severely dry, atopic, seborrheic skin or cradle cap.
  • Prevents diaper rash.
  • Detangles hair.
  • Is ideal as calming, nurturing massage oil.
  • Provides ouchless cleaning for wounds, too.

Shoppingero/shoppingera, what's your newest cool find? Please share.
