A Weekend Getaway

Mabuhay!

This is a busy year for the Eppersons. Tom has been working on two exhibits, two books, workshops, and shoots while I'm busy with three exciting projects which I'm going to share with all of you soon. Between family life, work and other commitments, it's a challenge to find time to ourselves. Don't get us wrong, we love that we're busy, but we believe that it's also important to reconnect and spend some time with each other and recharge.

Traveling these days is not an option for us as we have a baby. We're attached to Dylan and Aryanna. The best alternative to a quick sojourn is a weekend stay at a hotel. It's a drive away from home but close enough to get back to our place in case of emergencies. Perfect.

This time, we checked-in at the Marriott Hotel Manila.

Instead of checking-in at the front desk, Tom checked us in at the Business Center of the Marriott Hotel.
Tip: Have a cocktail or coffee at this place as it has a fabulous view of the Makati skyline and Villamor Golf Course.
We were welcomed by Marriott's Manager On Duty Alfie Sotto. He was accommodating, funny, and he's been working in the hotel industry for over ten years! Don't you just love his fenk tie?

Our room:

We got the Executive Suite, room 812. Tom and I like this part of the hotel that overlooks the golf course.

The bathroom has automatic blinds for those who want privacy. Very cool.

Our view:

Check out the complementary fruits!

Time to relax.

Nice personal touch.

My hotel getaway must-haves:

The tech station:

Room service:

Chillin' with my capuccino:

Tom and I give Marriott 5 stars for their coffee!
What a beautiful day!
Say hello to Marriott Hotel Manila marketing communications manager Michelle Garcia. Isn't she so kyoot?
Thank you for making our stay at the Marriott Hotel a memorable one!

This post is a three-part "series" so tune in later for the continuation...

Hi Jenni,

I spotted some bottles of Vita soymilk at local 7-11 outlets. Also the Pure & Best Milk varieties can be found at Landmark supermarket if I recall correctly.

Cheers. :)

Yay, I love Marriott Hotel too! Have you tried Marriott Cafe's Opera Slice cake? It's my favorite. And btw Ms. Jenni, Michelle Garcia is a good friend of mine. I've been looking for her in your Marriott posts, I'm not surprised I found her here! She really does a great job :)
