Last week, Miu Miu gave us the "sneakiest" sneak peek of “The Powder Room”, the first film in a series called Women’s Tales directred by international female filmakers. Now, here is the final short film by director Zoe Cassavetes.
Cassavetes delved into the feminine environment where gestures between women are traded in their rituals inside the powder room.
The movie was shot at London's Claridges Hotel. I adore the glamorous interior of the powder room! Fabulous inspirations for both fashion and home.
I love the enchanting powder room!
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the prettiest of them all?
I am so copying this chandelier lamp! This would be beautiful in our living room! This is going to be my project.
I also love how the film was lit like daylight pouring in the powder room—it showcased the beautiful details of the clothes and shoes and that Cassavetes left the drama in the story. Although, in real life, drama is best worn than lived.
Can't wait to see the next one!
Shoppingero, shoppingera, what do you think of the film?
