Coming up with a great design is vital in the fashion industry. New techniques can be helpful to make a design work, but a designer cannot get things going without an inspiration.

This is true even to three of the most established and highly respected fashion designers in the country -- Rajo Laurel, Randy Ortiz and Rhett Eala. The three big designers work on an inspiration. And when they are much inspired, their masterpieces are best.

In creating their latest designs, the three designers acquired inspiration from the latest technological breakthrough from Samsung, the Samsung Series 9 Notebook.

The Samsung Series 9 Notebook is the world's THINNEST measuring only 16.3mm (0.64 inches) in depth, and with a screen size of 13 inches; the world's LIGHTEST with a weight of only 1.31 kg (2,88lbs.), and; the world's BRIGHTEST -- using only Samsung's LED technology: 'SuperBright Plus' display (400nit) with 16 million color reproduction 80% brighter than other notebooks, all encased in the most advanced duralumin metal alloy only used in specialized aircrafts, making it durable yet stylish and ultra light.

What inspires Randy Ortiz the most is the aesthetics of the Samsung Series 9 Notebook. "Every time I choose a gadget, the first thing that attracts me is the aesthetics. The Samsung Series 9 Notebook is very fashionable and stylish. So, I was inspired to do the THINNEST collection which consists of stunning silhouettes and beautiful flow of garments."

For Rhett Eala, the Samsung Series 9 Notebook makes the user feel good, beautiful and sexy. "Using the Samsung Series 9 Notebook is an experience itself. And I wanted to capture that experience in my collection. My collection will make you feel good, beautiful and sexy, the same experience as using the Samsung Series 9 gives."

Rajo chose to do the BRIGHTEST collection. "The emotion that I want to evoke is FUN. I want this collection to be happy, vibrant, and energetic. We're about to hit summer so I want to be able to capture that excitement."

During an intimate press lunch at Sala restaurant, the designers shared with the press and some bloggers their excitement in revealing their collection based on the features of Samsung Series 9 notebook: "Thinnest", "Lightest", and "Brightest".

Randy will represent the "Thinnest", a collection using cuts and silhouettes that are both slimming and sexy. According to Rhett, his design will represent the "Lightest"—inspired by dance ('Black Swan' in particular) and using light, airy fabrics. Rajo was tasked to create the "Brightest" collection, using neon colors and dri-fit fabrics.
